So I have to confess that I have been visiting San Churro quite a lot recently.
I just love my dessert as you can all probably tell by now but there was a time where I was visiting San Churro almost every day so had to stay away for a while.
Now, I am back!
These guys have been bringing out a lot of limited time desserts recently and unfortunately, I didn’t get to try the Australia Day one which was said to have contained the all Aussie favourite, Vegemite.
But at the moment, I have been keeping up to date with them and the cutest of all is the Pixie Biz-ness! It is a red velvet version of the regular bizcocho and was brought out as a Valentine’s Day special.
It’s got pieces of red velvet cake, ice cream, whipped cream and strawberries, topped with a looped churro which is covered in pink glittered sugar.
Also on the limited time menu is the triple-threat choc. This is one of my faves – so much of that lovely milk chocolate! It’s made up of three churros topped with chocolate ice cream, brownie slices and drizzled with that famous milk chocolate. Yum, yum!
Just also newly released are the churros snack packs! These are so good and they’ve added two new flavours to the original which is made up of mini churros drizzled in two choices of chocolate and topped with strawberries and bananas.
One of the new flavours is the Pash ‘n’ Pav which consists of mini churros drizzled with two choices of chocolate, topped with a slab of pavlova, fresh kiwi, strawberries and passionfruit pulp.
The other flavour is the Cookie Smasheo which consists of mini churros drizzled with two choices of chocolate, topped with smashed Oreo cookies and cookies and cream ice cream.
These babies cost $15.95 each but are quite filling – especially if you’ve had a meal beforehand so make sure you go on an empty stomach.
For Easter, these guys have put together an Easter basket and doesn’t it just look adorable?!
The basket is made of churros and pack filled with ice cream, solid Easter eggs and a milk bunny drizzled with chocolate and caramel. It’s definitely not for the faint hearted and will cost you $14.95.
So what are you waiting for?! Get into your nearest San Churro before these guys disappear and you miss out.
