High Tea Party at the Hilton

I attended a high tea hosted by the High Tea Party at the Hilton Sydney and it was just as expected from such a beautiful place.
It was held on the third floor and there were small stalls set up outside the high tea area as well as on level 4 where there were small businesses selling items such as clothing, candles, jewellery and accessories.
When we were let into the high tea area, the venue was decorated beautifully and the tables were all set with Royal Albert china, a copy of the latest Women’s Weekly and some Sasy n Savy face rose cream.

There were three tiers of beautifully plated food.

The bottom tier was comprised of three sandwiches – egg mayonnaise and watercress on grain bread, chicken, mayonnaise and cos lettuce on wholemeal bread, and cucumber and brie cheese on white bread. I have to say that the cucumber sandwich was my favourite as they are always so fresh!
The middle tier was comprised of a coconut and milk chocolate tart, raspberry and white chocolate in a shot glass, and a pistachio sponge with cherry. Now this was definitely hard to choose from but I think the shot glass took the cake for me.

The top and final tier was comprised of plain and fruit scones accompanied with cream and jam.

Best of all, there was bottomless champagne and To a Tea tea! What else could you ask for?!

While we were enjoying our high tea and bubbles, To a Tea business woman, Lisa shared her story of how she found To a Tea in 2011 through heartbreak.

Throughout the time we were getting through the menu, there was also a fashion parade and styling session.

At the end there were a bunch of prizes to be won from the stalls which were there on the day.
The event was so much fun and the stalls were up for the afternoon for ladies to have a shop and a pamper.
