If you’re looking for something different in an ice cream, Hakiki is the place to go.
Born out of Turkey, this place is definitely one to add to your food bucket list if you haven’t already been.
The texture is unlike any other ice cream I know. It is quite hard but at the same time, creamy and smooth.
There are a range of flavours but sadly, we only got to try four!
Two out of the four were Turkish Delight (which was definitely a must because you know, Turkey!) and sour cherry.
The other two, rockmelon and feta (yes, that’s a thing), and burnt caramel.
Both flavours were gorgeous!
But we didn’t stop at that.
We also had some Turkish coffee which came with a side of their original Turkish Delight.
The coffee had a nice, distinct flavour to it and came in a cup the size of a shot glass accompanied by another shot glass of water.
I also had to try the rosewater flavoured Turkish Delight and this was just divine!
All of this and the bill came to a total of $19.00! If that’s not a bargain, I don’t know what is.
Definitely one which will be trending for a long time!
