I was super happy to see the location as Bondi is one of my favourite beaches.
Even though it gets super packed in the summer, you can always find a spot on the sand and there are heaps of awesome places to eat and shop!
Located on the second level, as you walk in, you will see just how spacious the place is. There is a bar, large seating area including a balcony area, bistro and open area for entertainment.
We were lucky enough to get seated in front of a lovely beach view with the gorgeous warmth of the sun beaming down. It definitely made me miss lying in the sun for hours on weekends.
We were given some drink tickets and the option to choose whatever we wanted from the menu.
The best thing about this place is that it has an open kitchen so you can watch your food being cooked.
We chose some salt and pepper squid with chilli, lemongrass and ginger sauce to share as an entrée – the wait was super quick and the squid, seasoned nicely and not too chewy as you can get at some other places.
For the main, I ordered nachos with chilli con carne which was topped with cheese, sour cream and guacamole. Let me tell you, looks can be deceiving! This baby was super filling and I hate to say it but it defeated me. I got three quarters of the way through and couldn’t eat anymore – I didn’t even have room for any dessert which was super disappointing.
The other main ordered was the double beef and bacon burger with a side of chips. This was epic – two beef patties, double cheese, lettuce, beetroot, tomato and the chef’s special sauce sandwiched in a milk bun. Although it looks big, it was actually a well sized meal.
By the time we had finished eating there was definitely a crowd starting to build up.
A nice little place to have a feed if you want to be super close to the beach. The service was really good and so was the food!
